My client is one of the leading environmental consultancies in the UK and is looking to expand the team in Oxfordshire with a Principal Ecologist. Specialising in a large variety of services including sustainability, renewables and ecology, this is a great chance to further your career within the ecological sector.
The ideal Principal Ecologist will have at least 5 years experience within ecological consultancy, having worked on EIAs and complex development projects. You will have experience and a good track record in leading a team of professionals, along with excellent project management skills. You will demonstrate sound knowledge of habitats, protected species and planning legislation and policy in the UK and Europe.
The Principal Ecologist role will involve leading and managing an ecology team covering the south of England. You will be responsible for leading delivery and development of the utility, rail and developer ecology business, which will involve preparing and implementing detailed sales, marketing and business development plans for ecological services for the team in the South.
