Ornithologist – Central Belt/Scottish Highlands – Competitive salary
My client is a global multi-disciplinary consultancy specialising in a range of engineering and environmental sectors including energy, ecology and ornithology.
They are looking to recruit an Ornithologist to join the team in Scotland. This position can be based out of Glasgow, Edinburgh or the Scottish Highlands.
You will hold a relevant degree and have at least 3 years experience carrying out Ornithological surveys including vantage point, winter bird and breeding bird surveys. You will have worked on a number of projects including wind farm development and been involved in EcIAs.
The Ornithologist role will involve survey work, writing reports and writing Ecological Impact Assessments.
You will have a full UK driving licence and ideally be a member of IEEM.
