To maintain our reputation in the environmental sector we need to ensure that our own environmental management is to the highest standard. We are recruiting an Environment Advisor to join our Energy & Environment Team in our Estates Department. You will ensure the efficient running, management and continual improvement of the EMS at Cranfield University and compliance with relevant legislation and ISO 14001 at all times. We are looking for someone with experience of implementing ISO 14001, with the ability to work at all levels, driving through the necessary behaviour change to ensure continual improvement. A relevant degree and knowledge of environmental legislation and regulation is essential. An understanding of a broad range of sustainability issues would be ideal, in particular the Energy & Environment Team is currently implementing a carbon management plan, developing a new travel plan and setting new targets for waste management.
