Graduate air quality consultant
If you want fresh challenges every day and the chance to make an impact, come to Halcrow. We’re looking for a graduate air quality consultant to join our Leeds-based air quality team. We undertake a diverse range of air quality monitoring and assessments for a range of clients using a variety of industry recognised techniques. Our main areas of work include contribution to environmental impact assessments (EIA), stand alone assessments for property developments and assessment of Highways Agency schemes. The successful candidate will contribute to air quality projects and provide support to the team and other Halcrow colleagues. You’ll carry out site work including installation of air quality monitoring equipment; undertake air quality modelling using the DMRB screening model, Breeze AERMOD and ADMS (Roads); produce clear concise reports; and be prepared to work on a range of assignments in support of your colleagues’ projects. Ideally, you’ll hold, at least, a graduate level qualification and preferably a postgraduate qualification in a relevant field. You’ll possess knowledge of relevant air quality legislation, and experience of air quality modelling techniques is highly desirable.
