                        <description><![CDATA[Our client specialises in the provision of ecological and ornithological services throughout the United Kingdom. Projects include work within the sectors of onshore wind, marine, offshore wind, hydro, transmission lines. Salary: &#163;27,000 to &#163;35,000 DOE. There is a fantastic opportunity for a Bat licensed Ecologist to join a rapidly expanding Ecological Consultancy within the Central Belt of Scotland. Duties of the Role: -Heading up our bat project work throughout the UK; -Leading the field survey team in undertaking bat surveys; -Working as part of the wider team to deliver other ecological survey work; -Managing and reviewing the data analysis process; -Preparation of Technical Reports; -Provision of bespoke technical advice; -Preparation of Environmental Statement chapters; and -Project Management. The ideal candidate will be educated to at least degree level in ecology or a related subject, coupled with a minimum of 3 years&#8217; relevant experience of bat work. A comprehensive understanding of bat survey design, implementation and data analysis will also be required, involving remote activity surveys, manual activity surveys, emergence/reentry surveys, roost surveys and use of sound analysis software. This position would ideally require a Bat license to represent the above listed qualities, along with the posession of a full, clean UK driving license. Interested in this role?
